Meat Vegetable Sides Miscellaneous

BREEZY PIZZA

  • 1 ready-made pizza crust
  • 4 oz. Pizza sauce
  • 1-Tblsp Basil Lebanese Breeze
  • 1-cup mozzarella cheese

Spread the Lebanese Breeze over crust, follow with the pizza sauce. Add the cheese and a variety of toppings of your choice.

Use what ever you have left over in the fridge. Some nights we use roast chicken and others times we use classic pepperoni and sausage. Use your imagination and what ever is left over in your fridge.

SIMPLE GARLIC BREAD

Slice French bread length wise, spread with Lebanese Breeze, any flavor, broil until warm and bubbly or wrap in foil at 350 and bake for 10 minutes.

Savory Garlic Smashed Potatoes

  • 1/2 cup any flavor pickled garlic with juice
  • 2 pounds new potatoes (cleaned and halved)
  • enough chicken or vegetable stock to cover potatoes
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Place all ingredients except salt and pepper in a microwavable bowl with stock covering potatoes
  • Microwave on high until potatoes are soft
  • Remove and mash with potato masher to desired consistancy
  • For buttery flavor add Molly McButter (or butter of you don't mind the calories)

Orion Bread

  • 1 large loaf of French bread or several slices
  • Spread bread with Lebanese Breeze, sprinkle with Orion Spice
  • Wrap in foil
  • Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 minutes
  • Or, you can broil the bread, just top with favorite cheese and broil until melted

Low Fat French Fries

  • Wash and slice whole potoatoes french fry style (peel if desired)
  • Lightly coat baking sheet with non-stick spray
  • Lay fries in single layer on baking sheet
  • Lightly spray potatoes with non-stick spray
  • Sprinkle Orion Spice over all
  • Bake in 425 degree oven for 20 minutes
  • Stir potatoes and sprinkle again
  • Return to oven and cook until desired crispness

Garlicky Cottage Cheese Salad

  • 16 oz. tub of cottage cheese
  • 2 fresh chopped tomatoes
  • 3 green onions chopped coarsely
  • 1 tsp Garli Garni
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickled garlic
  • 1 tbls olive oil
  • 1 tbls Garlic Festival Wine Vinegar
  • Mix the above ingredients in large bowl
  • Chill thoroughly, pack in a crock and serve with crackers or baguettes

Garli Garni Pull Apart Bread

  • 1 package frozen bread dough
  • 4 tbls butter or margarine
  • Garli Garni to taste
  • Your choice of fresh herbs
  • Thaw dough per instructions
  • Melt butter and sprinkle in Garli Garni and fresh herbs
  • Seperate dough into 2" round pieces and roll in Garli Garni/herb butter to coat
  • Arrange in deep baking dish
  • Top with remaining butterand bake according to package instructions
  • This also works great with Garli Ghetti!
